I hope you're familiar with photobucket. If not, simply create a free account. Basically, you are choosing to copy and past the url of the larger picture rather than upload it at a smaller size. when you upload it at a small size, click/dragging the corners will cause the pixels to distort.
so. 1)upload photo onto photobucket. 2)after its finished, click the photo so that is larger. 3) hover the mouse at the top of the photo you will see full size, edit, rotate, etc. 4)select Share and then sign into your Blogger Account. It will post the photo into a new blog post. 5)log in, copy and past the photo and delete the new entry.
